Call for Art 2025: Artistic KALEIDOSCOPE
The curatorial essence of our 2025 exhibition schedule is Artistic KALEIDOSCOPE.
The term "kaleidoscope" is derived from the Ancient Greek words:
καλός (kalos), “beautiful, beauty”, εἶδος (eidos), "that which is seen: form, shape", σκοπέω (skopeō), "to look to, to examine", hence "observation of beautiful forms".
The kaleidoscope is a metaphor for ART in a number of ways, including:
Transformation through Perspective:
Just as a kaleidoscope produces different patterns with each turn, it can symbolize how perspective shapes our understanding of reality. It suggests that there are multiple viewpoints and interpretations of the same situation.
Ever-Changing Possibilities:
The kaleidoscope's changing patterns and reflections can represent the many creative possibilities out there;
and lifes changes that serve as a catalyst for creative shifts that can lead to new and unexpected outcomes.
Therein lies the fluidity of life.
Diversity & Complexity:
A kaleidoscope's intricate designs made from various colors and shapes can symbolize the beauty of diversity in society.
It reflects the idea that different backgrounds, experiences, and ideas come together to create a richer, more vibrant whole.
Creativity and Imagination:
The artistic patterns generated by a kaleidoscope can represent creativity. It suggests that creativity arises from the interplay of different elements and that imagination can transform the ordinary into something extraordinary.
This is creativity personified.
The Initiative to Sustain Beauty:
The kaleidoscope's ability to transform broken glass into beautiful patterns can represent the ability to put things
back together. Art inspires us to build a better world. It causes us to long for “something more” and inspires us to
pursue it. Art is proof that “something more” is out there because that “something more” seems to
loom behind every artists creation. In this way, ART has the potential to be very powerful.
The mind is a magnificent kaleidoscope of
limitless creative potential waiting to be seized.
Please join us on this JOURNEY in 2025
As a small, women led, nonprofit community gallery, our mission is to provide access to exhibition space.
This exhibition series intentionally has NO THEME. We believe this encourages exploration & risk-taking in an artists practice and opens up endless possibilities. We are here to showcase an artist’s best work, what they are most proud of or what they are experimenting with. In addition to no theme, we operate free of submission fees, content regulations, size or medium/material restrictions. We are here to promote, inspire and enable the creative process.
Show us what you’ve GOT!!!
All artists, doing whatever it is they do, are encouraged to apply.
Artists can submit one piece per each exhibition cycle.
The exhibitions are juried by rotating industry professionals and curated in response to the submissions accepted. The Juror will select work for each exhibition based on commonalities found amongst the overall collection of work submitted, as well as, taking into consideration both the mastery of medium and presentation quality.

The world is your kaleidoscope, and the varying combinations of colours, which at every
succeeding moment it presents to you, are the exquisitely adjusted pictures of your ever-moving thoughts.
